Membership in the SBPOA
As a South Bethany Property Owner we welcome you to join the South Bethany Property Owners Association. The Association was formed in 1983. Our mission is to maintain and improve this wonderful beach life that we all enjoy in South Bethany. We are committed to encouraging effective and efficient management of our Town. We are committed to protecting and preserving public and private properties within the Town of South Bethany. And we promote concern, cooperation, participation and pride effecting the current and future welfare of South Bethany.
Our services include:- Sending email reports to members advising of critical topics discussed at Town Council meetings
- Advising members of notable events and other issues of common interest or concern
- Providing a Neighborhood Watch Program for members to have their homes watched between October and April each year
- Sending member invitations to attend an SBPOA Summer Kickoff Party with a lunch and live music
- Sponsorship of the annual July 4th South Bethany Boat Parade
- Support for beautification projects such as canal end bulkhead landscaping
- Support for partner organizations such as the South Bethany Women Club and the Historical Society
- Online sales of SBPOA retail apparel with the South Bethany logo
- Support for maintenance of Little Libraries around South Bethany
